Stephanie Toombs: Founder & Director
Step uP is Stephanie Toombs' vision for Chattanooga area churches and faith-based organizations to collaborate and apply their various ministry offerings and resources. This, helping to enrich the lives of our community's impoverished and underemployed.

It is her passion for educating the church to do ministry more effectively.
​
Mrs. Toomb’s degree in social work and her Master's in Higher Educational Administration have qualified her to offer leadership and serve the Chattanooga area for some thirty years.
Previously an adjunct at Chattanooga State, Stephanie is certified in Work-Life Curriculum.
Joe Toombs: Board Treasurer
Joe Toombs, is a retired Sales Executive with Bristol Myers Squibb, and serves on the local Advisory Board for Kairos Prison Ministry, an international outreach for bringing the gospel to inmates. He has extensive nonprofit board experience, serving on the Silverdale Baptist Academy for 16 years, and has served in a teaching capacity at his local church for many years.

Robert Caldwell: Board
A Chattanooga area insurance producer, Mr. Caldwell has a heart for the community and for spreading the love of Christ through mentorship,
Having mentored both nationally and internationally, he serves as an Ally for both the Faith & Finances curriculum as well as a Work Life. Mr. Caldwell brings a wealth of experience and passion.
Bonita Broadnax: Board
Bonita Broadnax is a former Section 8 property manager for a private affordable housing company in Tennessee. Prior to property management, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA focused on alleviating poverty at an affordable housing nonprofit.
Bonita holds a Masters in International Community Development and has over twenty-five years' experience in nonprofit management, inclusion and equity practices, and corporate management.
Don Hopkins: Board
Owner of Advance Planning Associates and the former Vice President of Sales for SCI Northwest Region, Mr. Don Hopkins has spent countless hours
in Christian outreach and ministry mentorship both internationally and stateside.
Don is certified as Faith & Finances facilitator.
